New Season of Episodes Coming Winter 2014

The Appalachian Trail Radio Show would like to sincerely thank everyone who has listened to our episodes and supported the show. Plans for a new season are currently underway. It looks like new episodes will begin around January or February of 2014. We intend to bring new and improved quality to upcoming episodes, including a new microphone for better audio quality as well as video podcasts for certain episode. He then took his talents to University of Alaska Fairbanks where he earned an MFA. Shortly after, Digger began the project which we discuss. Episode 14: Tell it on the Mountain Download


AT Radio speaks with the creators of the film “Tell it on the Mountain – Tales from the Pacific Crest Trail”, Lisa Diener and Shaun Carrigan. “Tell it on the Mountain” is a new documentary film that follows half a dozen of the 300 or so hikers who attempt the Pacific Crest Trail every year. You’ll find some of the Pacific Crest Trail’s heavy weights featured in the film including Scott Williamson (multiple PCT record holder) and Billygoat (John Muir look-alike and trail fixture). You even get a chance to join along with Donna Saufley (Agua Dulce’s “Hiker Heaven” trail host extraordinaire herself) while she section hikes the high sierra. Episode 13: Pressure D Download


AT Radio talks to “Pressure D” live from the trail in Hot Springs, North Carolina. Pressure D is now 273 miles into his northbound thru-hike. We catch up with Pressure D on his progress since we last talked to him in January. Pressure D is a hammock hiker so he shares with us the pros and cons of camping with a hammock.
